Cancelled days and refunds
Sometimes the school has to cancel a lunch day, ask everyone to re-order, or swap a meal. In every case you'll get an email — here's what each means for your money.
Day cancelled
You'll receive an email naming the day and the reason. The school decides whether to refund orders for that day; if a refund is issued, it's credited to the wallet of the guardian who placed the order, and that guardian's email shows the amount. If your email doesn't mention a refund amount, either the school handled it another way or a co-guardian placed (and was refunded for) the order — contact the school office with questions.
Day reset (please re-order)
If the school changes a day's meal options and needs everyone to choose again, existing orders for that day are cancelled and automatically refunded to the placer's wallet. Your email includes a Re-order Lunch link — your refund covers the new order.
Meal replaced
If a meal is swapped after you ordered, your order for that day is cancelled and automatically refunded, and your email shows the old and new meal with a link to re-order if the new meal works for you.
All of these refunds go to your wallet. To move money from your wallet back to your card or bank, see Getting a refund to your card or bank.
