Getting a refund to your card or bank

If you'd like your wallet balance returned to your original payment method — for example, at the end of the year or if you're leaving the school — contact your school's administrator. Refunds to cards and bank accounts are initiated by the school; there's no self-service button.

What happens next

  1. The administrator starts the refund. Your wallet balance is set aside immediately (it will show as withdrawn from your wallet).
  2. You'll receive an email with a link where you can review the payments being refunded. If your balance came from more than one payment, you can choose which payment gets refunded first.
  3. If you don't respond within 7 days, the refund is processed automatically to your most recent payment method.

Refunds can only go back to payments you actually made through the site — amounts credited by the school directly (adjustments, courtesy credits) can't be sent to a card and are handled by the school separately.

Once processed, allow several business days for the money to appear, depending on your card issuer or bank.
