Lunch calendar subscription

You can subscribe to a personal calendar feed that shows your students' ordered lunches in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, or any calendar app.

Turning it on

  1. Go to My Account (click your name in the top-right corner).
  2. In the calendar section, enable the feed.
  3. Use the Add to Google Calendar link, or copy the subscription link into your calendar app (most apps have an "add calendar by URL" or "subscribe" option).

The feed shows lunches you've ordered for your students over roughly the next three months, and updates as you place or change orders. Calendar apps refresh subscribed feeds on their own schedule, so a new order may take a little while to appear.

Each lunch appears as an all-day entry, so it sits at the top of the day rather than buried in the middle of your schedule, and it won't mark you as busy. Open the entry to see the meal, the amount paid, and — once the student has a teacher assigned — the lunch period and its time.

Keep the link private

Anyone with your feed link can see your students' ordered meals. Don't share it. If you think someone else has it, click Regenerate — this creates a new link and the old one stops working immediately (update any calendars you've subscribed).

Turning it off

Disable the feed from My Account. Subscribed calendars will simply stop receiving updates; you can remove the calendar from your app as well.
